Attention! Salute the stars and stripes with Oskar Blues Dale's American Pale Ale—the embodiment of American craftsmanship, determination, and unyielding spirit. As the beer that kickstarted the canned revolution, I proudly wave the flag of defiance and innovation.
Hailed as America's first craft-canned beer, I stand tall as a testament to the unwavering pursuit of flavor. With each sip, you'll taste the boldness that defines our great nation. A voluminous hop character, often mistaken for an IPA due to its audacious hop profile, lingers on your palate, leaving a trail of satisfaction.
From the aroma of hops wafting through the air to the assertive yet harmonious balance of floral hops and pale malts, I am a symbol of American resilience. Raise your cans high, and let the world know that you're holding an original craft beer in your hands. I am Oskar Blues Dale's American Pale Ale—defiant, proud, and a true icon of American brewing.

Oskar Blues Brewery started out as a humble restaurant with Dale Katechis handling its operations. Katechis dabbled in homebrewing from time to time, but it was only when he had the idea to turn his restaurant into a brewpub that he started brewing for real. After realising how popular his brews were amongst the Lyon community, Katechis decided to do the unthinkable and can his beers. Back then, the general perception of canned beers was not great, but Katechis saw the potential in cans; their durability will allow craft beers to be involved in active, outdoor lifestyles. With that, Oskar Blues became one of the pioneers of canning craft beer in the United States!
