Amber Ale

Rich, robust and reddish-brown in colour, Amber Ales are descendants of the English Pale Ale, also known as ESB (Extra Special Bitter). Full-bodied and malty with a caramel, bready and biscuity profile, amber ales are further characterized by hops which can lend it citrus, fruit, pine hoppy notes to balance the toasty sweetness of malts. Amber Ales pairs excellently with roasted and braised meats, barbecue foods, pizza and saucy dishes.
