I am brewed with a distinctive yeast strain that was cultured specially for me way back in the 1920s and am marked by a signature thick white crown that sits atop a golden-yellow body. My lively bouquet of apples, bananas, and citrus hops is backed by robust flavour notes of pale malts, fruity esters and subtle spices.
Duvel means "Devil" in English and I'm named that way because I've "devilishly" hidden a 8.5% ABV within my silky smooth and dry finish. If you're up for it, drink me as an aperitif like the Belgians do!
