My kind, the Saisons, are a traditional and perhaps even forgotten beer style that was once served to refresh and replenish farm workers. We used to be brewed in Winter, then stored for drinking during Summer – a common brewing practise before the invention of refrigeration.
I am aptly named Resurgence, and have been produced to revive this great beer style. To create a modern little twist, my brewmaster decided to create his own farmhouse yeast blend and added loads of Mosaic hops into my brew. The result is me – Singapore's very first canned Saison that's refreshing, complex, and pepper-spiced like how the style should be, but also really floral, dry and hoppy at the same time. Drink me and celebrate the Saison's comeback!
