Fruit Beer | 250ml | ABV 2.5%The name, Pêcheresse, is the combination of the French word for peach (pêche) and the feminine French word for sinner (pécheresse). The logo on the bottle is a drawing of a young woman lying seductively on the sand, representing the sinner mentioned in the name of the beer.
This lambic is brewed with barley malts and wheat. Peach juice is added before it is matured in oak casks. Pêcheresse from Lindemans pours a yellow-orange and slightly cloudy colour topped by a white head held by a strong effervescence. It releases aromas of peach and very sweet candy sugar scents. Once in the mouth, it features strong flavours of peach along with a slightly sour taste, showing the Lambic fermentation used in the brewing process and offering a nice balance between sweetness and sharpness. Pêcheresse can be tasted as an aperitif and perfectly marries dishes of all kind, especially desserts.
