More About Me

As the dark brother of the internationally famous Delirium Tremens, I'm rich, bold, and full-bodied. I pour a deep brown-red topped by a lacing beige crown and am perfumed with a malty aroma of roasted caramel, mocha, chocolate, liquorice and coriander. My grand entrance is soft and boozy, and as I glide through your palate, I get increasingly hoppy and chocolately with hints of fruity, toffee sweetness... Tempted yet?

Delirium, Huyghe Brewery

Huyghe Brewery was founded in 1906 in the city of Melle, Belgium, where beer brewing has been ongoing since 1654. As one of Belgium's most renowned brewers, the Huyghe Brewery produces many other fine beers under different labels but they only got international fame when they launched the award-winning, nominated as the 'Best Beer in the World', and now-legendary Delirium beer – also known as the pink elephant beer, in 1988. Huyghe Brewery, with their strong belief in renewable energy and corporate social responsibility, is currently one of the most environmentally sustainable breweries in Europe and aims to become the greenest brewery in the world.
