I pay homage to the traditional Saison beer style that European farm workers have enjoyed for centuries. Saison means "Season" in French and in the olden days, these were Summer beers brewed in the Winter and drunk throughout crop planting, maintenance, and harvest.
My ancestors used to be made using the leftover crops that didn’t make it to market the previous year. But I'm brewed the modern way, with a special blend of four different yeast strains, hops, barley, wheat and rice fermented at high temperatures. I'm a little earthy, slightly fruity, quite tarty and refreshingly dry. I am so complex that you won't even taste my well-hidden 6.5% ABV!
