In case you're wondering, "Framboise" is the name given to Belgian Lambic beers that are fermented using raspberries. I'm quite the same... except that instead of using Lambic as a base, I'm brewed using the Bacchus's original Flemish Old Brown Ale, which gives me a slight touch of caramel. As traditional and old as my recipe is, I'm still full of surprises you see! I'm wonderfully balanced between sweet and sour, with notes of ripe raspberries, a hint of roasted malt, and earthy yeast. Psst, each of me is lovingly hand-wrapped by the Bacchus team!
Founded in 1865, Van Honsebrouck Brewery is one of the few rare breweries in the world to produce spontaneously fermented ales as well as lagers, and played a crucial role in defining the craft of Belgian beers. Now in its 5th generation of the family brewing, this historical brewery now brews a diverse range of award-winning and highly sought-after Belgian ales.
