Cabernet Sauvignon | 750ml | ABV 13.5%
The aromas of the 2016 Leese-Fitch Cabernet Sauvignon start with sweet raspberry and liquorice notes that finishes with hints of root beer and cherry cola. The flavour palate includes touches of tart cherry and dark berries that balances with nuances of vanilla and sandalwood. The mid-palate is medium-bodied with structured tannins as to be expected with a classic Cabernet Sauvignon. The unique finish harmonizes flavours of dark fruit, rich American and French oak notes and even candied orange peel. This wine has grapes sourced from many different vineyards across California – mainly in the Lodi appellation – and while there are many parts to this wine, the sum all ties together in an approachable red wine to enjoy all year round.
