Dark and brooding, this Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has spice-driven aromas of cloves, anise, and fennel, complemented by notes of red plums, dark cherry and blackberry. The palate holds a fine tannic quality with intense ripe dark fruit flavours and vanilla extract. Youthful but complex, this well-balanced wine is made up of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petite Verdot, aged 18 months in French oak, and promises to develop and express more with time.
