I am an Oud Briun (Old Brown), also known as the Flanders Brown, which is a style of beer originating from the Flemish region of Belgium. My kind was referred to as "Old", because of our long brewing and oak-aging process, which can last up to a year; but trust me when I say that the result is worth the wait.
I taste of ripe berries and earthy florals – almost reminiscent of rich red wine. My unique flavour characteristics were so special that it inspired my brewery to name themselves after the Roman pantheon, Bacchus, who's the son of Jupiter and the god of wine. Go ahead and drink me like how you would enjoy the nectar of gods!
