Lindemans Cassis (Blackcurrant) Lambic

Purplish red with a creamy pink foam and an aroma that is thick with ripe currants, sharp oak and wild yeast, the Lindemans Cassis is a classic spontaneously fermented Lambic made with pure blackcurrant juice and aged in one-year-old oak casks to give it a fine, complex fruit character. The result is a fresh and juicy sweet beer with a mouthwatering hit of fresh dark fruits as well as a characteristic sweet and sour profile found uniquely in Lambic beers. Best enjoyed when served ice cold!

About the Brand

Southwest of Brussels, in the quiet Belgian town, the Lindemans family has been farming and homebrewing since 1822. Lambic, or spontaneously fermented beers, are the beers of this region and are among the world's rarest: they are the only beer style that is fermented via wild, airborne yeast – no yeast is added by the brewers.
