I'm referred to as one of the finest examples of the traditional 100% spontaneous fermentation Lambic style. As a monument of taste, I am a masterful blend of 90% mild 18-month-old Lambic, 5% strong 3-year-old beer and 5% very young Lambic – all of which provides me with my 7% ABV alcohol content, natural fermentable sugars and wild yeasts. To complete my brewing process, my brewmasters place me into an air-conditioned room for several months, where I transform into a yellow-amber Gueuze beer with fine flavours of fruity zest, spicy ginger, and sweet Muscat grape. True to the Lambic style, I have a natural mellow sourness, hint of dry oak, and a long, dry aftertaste.
My beer style, the Old Geuze, can be stored or aged up to 20 years, and is a Guaranteed Traditional Speciality that's recognised throughout Europe... So do give me the status that I deserve and enjoy me out of a glass.
