Founded in 1978 and situated in the village of Lembeek that gave Lambic its name, Boon Brewery is a producer of wild fermented Belgian beers. By modernizing their brewery specifically for Lambic production, they have been able to bring brewing consistency and are extremely instrutmental in the restoration of this traditional beer style. With an array of talented Lambic blenders in their region, Boon has been globally regarded as experts on the care and maintenance of wooden oak vessels required for aging beer. Today, Boon's variety of Lambics are considered gold standard and recognised as perennial award winners.
