Pinot Noir | 750ml | ABV 13.0% | Biodynamic
Of all the Evening Land wines, the Seven Springs Pinot Noir tells the story of this historic vineyard. Built around a core of own-rooted, Pommard and Wädenswil vines planted in 1984, this bottling is a hearkens back Oregon’s winegrowing infancy, when savoriness, smokiness, and nuance brought curious and adventurous Burgundy lovers to our region in droves. The aromatics of the 2015 vintage is bright and botanical, yet dignified. The wine is concentrated on the palate, with rich fruit, forest floor, black tea and cherry buttressed by lively acidity and distinguished tannins. This outstanding Pinot should age gracefully over the course of the next decade.
