I'm a dark and brooding Cabernet Sauvignon with fruit grown from the mineral-rich Knights Valley appellation, which is known to produce world class Bordeaux varieties.
My fruit-forward aromas of blackberry and deep red cherries leads to a fine palate that's soft, supple, and inviting with fresh fruit flavours of ripe red plums and vanilla. My fine tannic quality mingle beautifully with the intense ripe fruit flavours that are within me. I am a youthful wine that promises to be complex, perfectly-balanced and deeply intriguing. If you give me time to develop further, I'll be even more expressive and rich.

Gehricke is the small-lot, prestige label of the Sebastiani family – one of the oldest wine families in the history of America. Their wines initially came about due to the bountiful harvest of incredibly good Carneros Pinot Noir grapes in 2012 but have received so many high praises and sign-ups in that same year that they decided to continue producing their speciality Sonoma County wines. Gehricke has since then been producing wines of minimal intervention from ultra-premium vineyards.
