As the first Belgian IPA ever produced, I'm a highly sought-after beer. I was created to match the complex spirit of the gnomes in Achouffe's Valley of the Fairies and am the result of a marriage between an IPA and a Belgian Tripel. By drawing on the flavours and aromas of three different hops – Tomahawk, Saaz, and Amarillo, I offer a bold, pronounced bitterness with fruity grapefruit and spice notes. I am full-bodied, powerful, and great. A sip of me will soften you up!

The gnomes of the Valley of the Fairies were discovered by the Achouffe Brewery (also known as Brasserie d'Achouffe) in the heart of the verdant Belgian Ardennes forest in 1982. Since then, they been working tirelessly to enchant drinkers with their delicious and unique beers. It's said that every recipe was whispered into the brewers' ears by these gnomes! Now, different gnomes have different talents – Marcel is the most fearless of the dwarfs and one of the main artisans involved in producing the iconic La Chouffe, Malcom is the intrepid Scottish kilt-wearing dwarf who brewed the award-winning Mc Chouffe, Matthew is the hophead of the famiy and created Houblon Chouffe all by himself, and finally we have Micheline who takes cares of all harvests and ingredients!
