For those who seek "the real sour deal", look no further because I'm it. 25% of me is made of real sour Belgian cherries that were added into my spontaneous fermentation Lambic brew which gave me my mouth-puckering, tarty, and fruity character. I matured for three years in oak barrels to further enhance and refine my flavours of sweet cherry, creamy pie, earthy oak, and citrus zest. Enjoy me as a decadent treat and pair me with good company!

The first-ever Mort Subite beer saw light in 1686, and brewing hasn't stopped since. As the only lambic brewer that uses exclusively Belgian cherries, the brewery produces beers with a particular personality and taste: fruity, refreshingly sour and slightly bitter. Fun fact: Mort Subite (also known as "sudden death"), is named after a Brussels dice game called Pietjesbac, which the brewery's founder liked to play.
