Kona Brewing started with a dream to create fresh, local island brews made with spirit, passion and quality. Their love for Hawaii had them building a business that would benefit the island and not harm its pristine environment. The brewery, built in 1994, is now powered by renewable energy, uses only recyclable materials and is located near the mainland to reduce trucking needs. Today, Kona Brewing is Hawaii's most popular craft brewery and the locals even have a nickname for their refreshing brews: Liquid Aloha.
