The nearly opaque and ruby-purple coloured 2016 Senses Russian River Pinot Noir gives up notes of black raspberries, red currants and black cherries with touches of fresh-picked lavender, baking spice, forest floor and white tea leaf. The palate is supple and perfectly ripe, thanks to a medium-bodied and plushly textured structure that provides plenty of mouth-filling juicy fruit and a smooth, fine-grained tannins with a refreshing and long finish. This vintage here only has 450 cases produced and can both drink now or a decade later.
