Senses Charles Heintz Chardonnay - 2016

| 14.4% ABV

The Charles Heintz Chardonnay is one of those wines that Senses always wish they had more of and the 2016 vintage is no different. Rich yellow apple, ripe peaches, candied lemon, wet parchment and nutty oak jump out of the glass along with the expected honeysuckle notes indicative of the site. With a solid harmony, lemon, pineapple, mango, vanilla and hints of pear bring together this wonderfully balanced, composed and quietly delicious wine. This Senses Chard is just one of those classics that is hard to beat, it flows and lingers on the palate so smoothly that it's difficult to resist.

About the Brand

Senses Wines is the brainchild of three childhood friends – business guru and winemaker Christopher Strieter, actor Max Thieriot and writer-turned-vintner Myles Lawerence, who reunited together to produce small lots of Sonoma Coast wines in Occidental. Senses Wines embody the natural characteristics of its coastal vineyards that the trio meticulously farmed and cared for. They caught the attention of renowned winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown and managed to convince him to become their winemaking consultant. With Thomas' expert help, they made Senses Wines become a world-class label with a highly sought after waiting list.
