I'm special and unlike any other non-alcoholic beers in the market. My brewmasters at Weihenstephaner made sure that I had all the time I need to unfold and mature into the flavourful wheat beer that I am, before removing the alcohol in my brew by using a unique "falling film evaporation" technique that was developed just for me. As a result, I am lower in calories, ultra-low in alcohol (<0.5% ABV) and still a thoroughly enjoyable, authentic German Hefeweissbier wheat beer.
I pour sparkling golden with a finely latticed foam head that releases attractive clove spice aromas and tastes fresh of sweet honey, inviting yeast and delicious wheat. I can easily hold my own alongside the original, full-strength Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier wheat ale and believe when compared, I finish even more cleaner and refreshing!

Almost a thousand years ago, in the 1040s, Weihenstephan was known as the monastery brewery of the Benedictine monks. Today, it is the oldest still-existing brewery in the entire world and stands upon the Weihenstephan hill in old Bavaria, surrounded by traditional German countryside. With their rich heritage comes a high level of responsibility to produce consistent and great quality beer. Generations of knowledge, techniques and recipes have been passed down from brewmaster to brewmaster, ensuring that Weihenstephan is still producing the world's most awarded and highly-regarded German beer.
