Pinot Noir | 750ml | ABV 13.7%
Brooding in its aromatic profile, this wine exudes black cherry and black raspberry aromas, along with hints of rose petals, lavender fused with clove, anise and allspice. The palate is saturated with black cherry and has a very broad, loamy, earthy-driven sensibility. A subtle sensation of stoniness in the mid-palate melds into a refreshing tea-like finish. The tannins are plentiful but have a polish that will please many different palates and suit a vast array of cuisines.
Wilfred Wong of Wine.com - 94. "The 2014 William Selyem Eastside Road Neighbors Pinot Noir is simply beautiful. The wine shows ripe red to black fruit aromas, a pleasing lushness on the palate, and a tremendous and inviting aftertaste. Its delectable finish pairs it nicely with a lightly smoked ham. The Wine Advocate - 91. "Medium ruby-purple coloured, the 2014 Pinot Noir Eastside Road Neighbors is redolent of red flowers, fragrant earth, oolong tea and Chinese five spice with a cranberry and Bing cherry core. Medium-bodied and elegantly crafted with a firm, fine-grained tannin frame and plenty of freshness, it finishes long and minerally."
