Out in the small town of Shiner, Texas, where the days run hot and the beer stays cold, German and Czech immigrants brought their old-world brewing traditions to the Lone Star State and built something meant to last. A few decades later, at the Spoetzl Brewery, I was born... and Texans have been tipping back cold bottles of me ever since.

I’m Shiner Bock, first brewed in 1913 with rich roasted barley malt and German specialty hops. I pour a crystal-clear amber-copper with a dense tan head, carrying smooth notes of caramel, roasted nuts, and lightly toasted malt. Easy-drinking, lightly hopped, and balanced from start to finish, I’m the kind of beer that feels right at home beside smoky BBQ, football on the radio, and good company on the porch.

I was only meant to be seasonal at first, but folks around Texas had other plans. By 1973, the demand was loud and clear, keep the Bock flowing year-round. And honestly? I can’t blame ’em. More than a century later, I’m still brewed in Shiner the same way: honest, dependable, and proud of where I come from. Not flashy. Not complicated. Just a damn good beer that goes down easy.
