Every brewery starts with a love story - a genuine love for good beer. Holgate is no different, well, except that it also started with a love between two passionate beer lovers, Paul and Tash Holgate. In 1999, Holgate was born out of both Paul’s love for creating things and an inspiring trip to various microbreweries and brewpubs in the U.S. Although Holgate had a difficult start, with only Paul and Tash manning the entire brewery operations, the two managed to push through and put the brewery at the forefront of Australia’s craft brewing movement and brews!
