More About Me

Step into the legacy of Marston's with me, the Pedigree, or as the brewery affectionately called it, "P".

I'm a legendary Amber Bitter, or ESB (Extra Special Bitter) beer, steeped in Marston's rich brewing heritage. Once a humble creation from George Peard, our esteemed head brewer's era, I've evolved into a uniquely fermented amber-hued ale. Crafted in the traditional Burton Union set of 24 oak barrels, my journey reveals a fascinating aroma, a biscuity malt palate, spicy hops, and delicate fruity notes.

Raise a glass to the one-of-a-kind experience of bottle conditioning, where live yeast enhances the depth of my flavour over time, resembling the cask Pedigree you'd savour in one of the bustling pubs here in the UK. Pair me with meat pies, sausage and mash, steak, or Sunday roasts, and let's celebrate the timeless traditions of English brewing.

Marston's

Nestled in the heart of England, Marston’s Brewery stands as a testament of delicious brews with a whole lot of expertise behind them. In 1834, the brewery was founded by its namesake, John Marston, in Burton upon Trent. Burton was known for its special water and John, amongst other brewers, took advantage of it to produce beers with great complexity and perfection. As a result, Marston’s became the oldest surviving brewery in Burton that is known and loved for its super flavourful brews!
