I'm not quite a fruit beer nor a Quadrupel, yet I taste like the best of both worlds. As a blend of the Kasteel Donker and a sour cherry liqueur, I am the fruitiest offering within the Kasteel beer range. In contrast with the majority of fruit beers, I am not made by adding fruits to a young Lambic core. It is with this unique brewing process that I have an entirely different character from the rest.
A sip of me will guarantee a flavour explosion of intense cherries and other dark red fruits, accompanied by a spritzy, light carbonation. I'm both sweet and tart, and can be drank as an aperitif or with food.
