Gather 'round, my esteemed companions, for I am none other than the Rodenbach Grand Cru Oak-Aged Flanders Red Ale, the epitome of the archetypal Flanders Red-Brown Beer that defines my brewery's legacy.
Prepare to be enraptured by my complex fruitiness and refined sweet-sour flavor, which can only be achieved through a meticulous two-stage fermentation with lactic acid bacteria. Behold the alchemy of blending one-third young beer with two-thirds aged beer, a careful orchestration that sets the stage for my pièce de résistance—two long years of oak-aging within the hallowed confines of the barrel. The result? A tapestry of flavors, a multilayered texture that weaves together notes of fruit, wood, and esters, reminiscent of the finest of wines.
Vinous and bold, I boast a regal finish that has earned me the moniker "Burgundy of Belgium," capturing the hearts of connoisseurs and beer aficionados alike.

Founded almost 200 years ago, the Rodenbach is a legendary Belgian family brewery that specialises in oak-aged, mixed-fermentation ales. The brewery was established by Pedro Rodenbach and his wife in 1821, but it was only until their grandson Eugène that Rodenbach started to produce the high-quality, unique, and flavourful beers we know today. The brewery has often been credited for popularising the Belgian sour beer - which is what it’s best known for. Rodenbach’s sours are not only highly-regarded by beer enthusiasts, but they are also constantly snatching up multiple beer awards and accolades!
